Shang Tsung MK concept

MY Design of a Shang Tsung in his mid twenty's, withy this design a story is attached as well....

There is a lot of confusion of whther Shang Tsung is from Outword or Earthrealm... but what if....

Shang Tsung was a promising Shaolin Monk, and the possible next champion of Earthrealm for the Mortal Kombat Tournament, his talent and skill did not go unnoticed by the elders, but not by his fellow monks as well...

When Shang Tsung left the temple for a mission provided by the white lotus, he met on his way a damsel in distress being attacked by several bandits, he saves her as their skill is not match for him.... He brings her home, and for some reason he began to think about her, each time he was sent on a mission he would stop by her home and spent some time with her, she fell in love with her former savior, and he loved her back...

It is known offcourse, that monks are prohibited from any relationship, and soon the elders of the white lotus society came to know of it... they prohibited him from seeing his love, but he could not last long without her and decided to visit her anyway...

The second most skilled monk, was a competent and jealous warrior, he could not stand that Shang Tsung was favored before him, and when he found out that Shang Tsung still visited his love, he confronted him about this, Shang Tsung afraid of being expelled from the temple, promised the monk that he would try to let the monk be selected to represent earthrealm by losing in the proving against him, the match that settles between the monks in the temple once and for all who is to compete in the tournament...

on the day of the Tournament, both fought fiercly and both had to face eachother for the title of earthrealms defender... Shang Tsung still remembering their agreement tried to hold back, however an unfortunate blow knocked the jealous monk out... Shang Tsung then was chosen to be their next defender...

The monk furious that he had lost, went to the home of Shang Tsungs love, and murdered her, he told the elders that Shang Tsung still seeked out the girl... When Shang Tsung went to her house he found her lying in a puddle of blood, he screamed and cried, it was as his heart was torn out... and when the elders arrived the saw Shang Tsung holding the girl in a puddle of blood, and could not do other then to assume that he not only was in a relationship with her, but that he killed an innocent girl as well...

The greatest sin for a monk, he was expelled and the second monk would get his place in the tournament of Mortal Kombat, in his sadness and despair Shang Tsung wandered the lands... until one day he came across giant sized man who promised him both power and revenge, the only thing he had to do was to compete in Mortal Kombat, you see this man was Shao Khan the emperor of Outworld, and had heard of the dispell of Shang Tsung....

Shang Tsung thinking he could get his revenge, accepted the offer and the gift that came with it... Shao Khan transformed him in a powerfull sorcerer, one that thrived of their opponents soul... when the tournament began it was to the jealous monks surprise he was to face Shan Tsung, however he did not seem the same, he looked corrupted... thirsty for blood, Shang Tsung took his Soul.....
